SFI
Apply for Studentkortet in the app and choose SFI-SAS in the school list. Upload a certificate from your school that shows your name and that you are enrolled this semester.
SFI does not give the 
SL symbol or the student travel symbol, even if you study full time. The transport operators set the rules: they require a programme that qualifies for student aid from CSN, and SFI doesn't. You get Studentkortet with all discounts and the SJ logo for student fares with SJ. More about SFI and the travel symbols
Swedish as a second language (SAS)
SAS doesn't count as SFI. If you take a student loan from CSN and study more than 50 %, we get your study pace automatically. Otherwise, apply and upload a certificate that shows your points and number of weeks this semester. If you meet the requirements you get the travel symbols.
