Every semester we need to know that you're still studying. If you take a student loan from CSN this usually happens automatically. Otherwise, upload this semester's certificate in the app and your card is ready within 5 working days.
Step by step
- Wait until the semester has started. Schools usually only issue certificates for the new semester once you're registered. A certificate from last semester won't work.
- Get your certificate. At a university you download a registration certificate from Ladok. At Komvux, YH or a folk high school you get it from the school. It must show your name, personal number, courses, credits, dates and study pace. What should the certificate show?
- Upload it in the app. Go to Profile > Edit profile, scroll down and tap Är du student? Studying at several schools? Upload all certificates.
- Wait up to 5 working days. We review the certificate and email you when it's done. You don't need to contact us in the meantime, it won't make it faster.
- Fetch the new card. Tap the round arrow next to your card under My card. The new semester and your travel symbols now show.

My card still shows last semester
Tap the round arrow next to your card under My card, or log out and in again. Has it been more than 5 working days since you uploaded your certificate? Contact us.
I need to travel before my card is ready
Buy a regular ticket for now. Operators only accept a card that shows the right semester and the right symbol, so unfortunately we can't speed up the review. Upload your certificate as early as you can.
My certificate was rejected
Usually the study pace, dates or credits are missing, or the certificate is for last semester. Check what the certificate should show and upload a new one.
I didn't get a travel symbol
The symbols require a certain study pace. Check which symbol you get.
